Back to Coaches

I currently live in Telford, PA with my wife Missy and our beautiful baby girl Quinlyn, who was born on April 14, 2013. I attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2001 to 2008 where I earned an undergraduate degree in athletic training, then continued my education and received a clinical doctorate in physical therapy. While I completed my clinical affiliations at Pitt, I had the opportunity to evaluate and rehab athletes from the various sports teams on campus. Then during my senior year of undergrad, I was selected for a season long athletic training internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers. I am currently working as an outpatient physical therapist and treat a wide range of patients with orthopedic injuries.

I held a typical gym membership for many years and would go through cycles of being consistent, then stop going for a month. One day I noticed a CrossFit sign while driving home from work and talked my wife into checking it out. I have always been an active person and love challenging myself to learn and try new things. I have never been so humbled, but immediately knew that I needed more. I have been a member at Apex since March 2012 and a coach since November 2013 and can not truly put into words what an awesome community there is at Apex. There is so much more that CtossFit has to offer then just a good workout, and I encourage everyone to at least give it shot. CrossFit has completely changed my life and I now feel like I am a better father, husband, son, brother and friend because of it.
